Our evacuation vehicle was running nonstop for almost six months, serving near the frontline and transporting wounded soldiers from stabilization points to surgical teams.

“Ukraine eats vehicles” I was told during my first rotation. And it could not be more accurate.

The roads are rough — that’s just the nature of the beast — and evasive driving to avoid drones hasn’t been kind to the truck either.

Our Volkswagen T5 had to be towed all the way from the frontline back to Kyiv. It now needs significant repairs, including a brand new clutch, to get back on the road.

The total repair cost is $2,300 USD.

This vehicle has already saved lives — and with your help, it can keep doing exactly that.

From Ben Asack

A big thank you to our friends from IntuBlade, who graciously donated 12 video laryngoscopes to be donated to frontline medical units. These scopes are top of the line, have rave reviews, and can be attached to a phone or tablet via a USB-C port. The first batch has just been sent to the East. Total value: $700 USD.

Updates to follow!
